Robert Bosch LLC seeks a System/Function Architect at its facility located at 15000 Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Design and describe the system architecture. Identify and specify the interfaces between the architecture elements and overall system. Develop the system requirements and identify whether the function needs to fulfil the OEM specification. Development of software requirement for function and allocation to the component level. Define and develop elements at the system level and function level. Ensure breakdown and tailoring, classification as well as development of requirements on system or function and software level. Support the allocation of the requirement and maintain the functions to achieve the requirement. Analyze customer requirements assigned to the function. Support business acquisition managers in the customer requirement analysis or negotiation. Support System Engineers in identifying system requirement gaps between customer and platform requirement. Plan new functions to achieve customer requirement. Support technical platform managers in work package creation and effort estimation. Support Software Engineers in developing interface among components. Support Project Engineers or leaders in the planning and carrying out of the reviews. Travel Requirements: 10% domestic and international travel. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or foreign equivalent, plus 3 years of work experience in Software and Function Development. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Vehicle Communications; (2) Programming in C, C++; (3) Software/Function Architecture; (4) Software/Hardware-In-The-Loop; (5) Vehicle Driving/Evaluation.
