Technical Tasks
- •Perform technical tasks based on written or verbal instructions.
- •Proficient in demonstrating and understanding technical details.
- •Perform mid-level to moderately complex troubleshooting strategies to find root cause of product failure.
- •Participate in and/or lead improvement projects.
- •Identify areas of improvement and work with engineers to implement solutions.
- •Assist engineering in design of fixtures- to improve manufacturing processes.
- •Provide technical solutions to engineering problems.
- •Attention to detail.
- •Participate in safety initiatives.
- •Responsibility and knowledge of equipment in production area.
- •Ability to clearly communicate concerns with appropriate points of contact (supervisor, engineer, planner, etc....)
- •Demonstrated leadership.
- •Proficient trainer.
- •Skills to include Pre-liminary MRB authority.
- •Ability to initiate QN’s, write rework instructions and determine scrap.
- •Breadth and Depth of knowledge in production processes and quality system.
- •Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions where some ingenuity and judgment are required.
Manufacturing Activities
- •Support manufacturing in problem solving barriers within the area, from root cause to resolution.
- •Self-manage workflow throughout area with minimal guidance, to achieve team goals.
- •Identify and correct minor process, material, design, or equipment problems with the collaboration of engineering.
- •Actively participate in material review activities including Non-Conformances and Aged WIP.
- •Perform moderately complex mid-level troubleshooting skills to determine if failure is due to the tool, equipment, or product functionality.
- •First line of contact between operator and engineer, supervisor, maintenance, or system engineer.
- •Provide skill specific training to improve technique and/or understanding of the operation.
- •Fabricate complex equipment, hardware, or prototypes.
- •Duties will take place in MEMS-cleanroom-fab and production floor.
- •5S champion.
- •ESD champion.
Documentation
- •Write procedures and manufacturing work instructions for complex or detailed assembly operations.
- •Proficient with Team Center, SAP, and manufacturing documentation.
Asset Management
- •Manage and schedule Calibration of tools, equipment, and test systems with Metrology, and the operator, as well as engineering.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, 3-year experience without a degree
- Must be able to stand for 8+ hours.
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
- Must be available for overtime, including extended workdays and weekends.
- Ability to comply with EH&S policies and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Attend EH&S trainings as required.
- Ability to report unsafe practices and/or conditions to the appropriate individuals to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.
- Ability to recommend improvements to EH&S practices to create a safer workplace.
- Cleanroom experience preferred.
