Job Responsibilities

In this role you will be part of a team designing and implementing software solutions to solve unique and complex needs creatively and efficiently for satellite communication ground system development and integration. We're looking for a candidate with a strong software development background as well as the capability to lead a cross-team product effort for two critical custom simulation tools. In this role, you will understand the technical landscape, coordinate the direction for the teams, find ways to move forward when obstacles arise. You will work with the management on defining product and technology roadmaps, develop infrastructure capabilities, and lead engineering teams to design and deliver highly scalable software architectures that focus on improving the overall business value of our products.

Core daily responsibilities include:

• Participating in system design/definition efforts
• Acting as the Product Owner role
• Roadmap planning and backlog grooming
• Internal-customer feature coordination and support

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years t echnical lead or product owner experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Working in a fast-paced environment using Agile scrum methodologies
• Experience with planning and tracking team activities and ability to collaborate across multiple teams
• Experience with software feature design and stakeholder coordination
• Up to 10% domestic travel

Preferences

• Agile Product Owner role experience
• Agile/Scrum certification
• Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) training or experience
• Hands On Linux development experience
• Git experience
• Cloud infrastructure experience
• Networking experience
