Description:Lockheed Martin in Orlando is looking for C++ coders who want to work on cutting edge national security programs.
Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems. This is Lockheed Martin’s lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.
MFC is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded and application software. Selected candidate will integrate algorithms into C++ applications. Candidate is expected to be proficient in C/C++. It is desirable to has experience w/ both Windows Visual Studio & Linux based C/C++ development.
For this first assignment, the best candidate will have experience with integrating embedded real-time software into a simulation environment using C++. Candidates that would succeed in this position will also have experience with multi-core processors, multi-threading, and graphical user interface development.
Candidates filling this position will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified.
Basic Qualifications:
C++
Embedded real-time C++ software development on embedded real-time operating system (RTOS)
Full software life-cycle development
Desired Skills:
It is desired that the candidate has experience with or knowledge of:
Agile
Data Distribution Service (DDS)
Git - source code versioning
Jira - issue tracking and agile project management
Multi-core and multi-threaded C++ programming
Operational Flight Program (OFP)
Qt - GUI development tool
Simulation development experience
Visual Studio
