The Interactive Media Group (IMG) is at the center of audio, video and graphics support in Apple’s innovative products, including the AirPods, HomePod, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Apple TV. IMG’s Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Game Audio, Siri, FaceTime, media capture, playback and API’s for third party developers to enrich our platforms. The team is looking for talented engineers who are passionate about building audio features and products for millions of customers and care about overall user experience.

• Software development/testing experience
• Experience and familiarity with Python and shell scripting
• Working knowledge of C, C++, and Objective-C
• Solid understanding of audio technologies and real-time systems
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills

Description

Description As part of the audio software team, you will work alongside developers to improve the quality of our products. You will focus on screening incoming bugs, and developing tools/scripts to help in quick triage of bugs. Good communication and teamwork is expected as you will work closely with developers and other engineering teams. Experience with Apple audio frameworks on macOS and iOS is also nice to have.

Education & Experience

Education & Experience BE/ME, BS/MS in Computer Science, or Equivalent.
