As Senior Sales Engineer you will optimize sales volume, product mix and profit margin and drive increase in sales in the marketplace. Responsible for the full commercial cycle from pipeline development to contract closing. You will manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance. Prepare and present bids and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines. Support total quality efforts by providing timely and accurate information for order entry, elevating quality issues to attention of management. Ensure that accurate information flows to and from customers.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or accounts.
  • Build long-term business relationships with key customers to enhance long term business prospects.
  • Responsible for securing and maintaining the network of distribution of products and maintaining effective agreements having as a focus the panel builder partners.
  • Provide a high level of support to the customer base with a high focus on business growth.
  • Develop and present programs to promote the acceptance of products at related customer locations, sites, trade shows, etc.
  • Collect, analyse and utilize market intelligence data on market trends and conditions, customer needs, preferences and buying habits.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, reporting to and working closely with the Sales Manager and internal teams.
  • Create and deliver sales presentations to deliver customer value proposition of the product offering.
  • Build relationships with the key Tier 2 partners in order to create pull effect.
  • Participate at marketing and other promotional events with partners to ensure Eaton awareness.
Qualifications

Your essential skills we are looking for:

  • University degree (major in engineering) – will be an advantage.
  • Experience in working within Panel Builder’s business for 3 to 5+ years.
  • Experience in Sales – Components.
  • Experience with IEC 61439.
  • Technical knowledge of low voltage components.
  • Takes initiative and instills confidence to customers.
  • Strong organization skills; Communication and negotiation skills. Independent contributor; Team worker; Time management.
  • Strong computer skills – MS Office, CRM, ERP.
  • Fluent in Hebrew
  • Knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Driving license
