Responsible for operation, implementation, and change management of new software, hardware, and applications relative to Regional Packet Core platforms, SGSN, pMME, vMME, vEPDG, eMBMS, AMF, and cMME. Mobility Packet Core experience needed. Including: EPC/IMS/LTE architecture, interfaces, and procedures, with understanding of key LTE associated technologies and functionality including IMS, VoLTE, SRVCC, VoWiFi. Specific equipment experience on MME, vEPDG, and general Linux/Unix. 24x7 support, On Call, Strong troubleshooting skills, Good understanding of the Mobility network, scripting with Perl/Python, Virtualization, Kubernetes, Cloud Environment knowledge a plus. Responsible for reviewing/interpreting technical documentation and actions for inclusion/adaptation into day-to-day support requirements to manage current services in production. To also provide technical troubleshooting and leadership while resolving complex network problems. Supports identification of root cause, resolution, work arounds, testing and implementation of process fixes as it relates to service/network changes. May lead cross-functional teams on specific issues and/or projects.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications: 3-5 years experience. Linux/Unix Skills. Strong troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of mobility architectures. Desired Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Math, Science, Engineering or equivalent related network experience. Knowledge of scripting with Perl/Python, Virtualization, Kubernetes, and knowledge of Cloud Environment.
