Job Description

Working as a Sr. Contract/Sourcing Specialist, you will develop and administer contract administration policies, systems, procedures and methods as an individual contributor role. You will provide interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations and may negotiate contract modifications, follow-up quotations, revisions, terms and conditions with vendors. You will also be responsible for the review and administration of long-term and/or blanket purchase contracts as well as responsible for commercial contract issues, negotiations and/or administration of licensing agreements including renewal, new business, invoicing, credit holds, receivable issues and consolidations. This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T's compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions. Additional Responsibilities:
  • Administering contracts in accordance with company and customer policies and procedures, provide interpretation and analysis of contract documents and reviews and evaluation of customer requests for changes in or revisions of contracts that involve technical specifications, cost, or schedule impact on the company
  • Use skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures including resolving a wide range of issues

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Ability to gather quantitative data from a variety of systems
  • Strong knowledge of Outside Plant Engineering and Construction processes
  • Ability to analyze complex data from a variety of sources and make appropriate recommendations
  • Commitment to teamwork and quality
Desired Qualifications:
  • Four year degree in Business Administration or Procurement
  • Two or more years experience in the construction industry
  • Working knowledge of time reporting systems and procedures
  • Strong cost/efficiency focus and knowledge of the competitive environment
