We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Technical Project Management team in Bangalore India, reporting to the manager of Technical Project Management. In this role, you will drive and manage software engineering projects by proactively engaging teams in tracking and reporting daily progress, conducting risk analysis, tracking and reporting schedule variances, and working with team members to ensure the successful delivery of committed product features. You will not only be responsible for scope, cost, and schedule, but you will also use your technical ability to add value to our initiatives. This is a key position in the Software Engineering organization with very high visibility at the executive and company levels. You will work with experts of next-generation technology and help drive the project and portfolio to achieve departmental and corporate goals.

What you’ll do:

• Perform day-to-day project management and scrum master duties for assigned projects
• Manage project and portfolio budgets and provide variance reports
• Facilitate and coach the scrum team on the agile scrum practices, remove impediments, resolve conflict, and reconcile differences—on a whole, be the scrum master that helps teams to be successful
• Motivate cross-functional and cross-organizational project teams to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
• Own and drive all technical project management activities
• Plan and direct multiple concurrent delivery projects
• Drive daily progress on engineering tasks to help meet the periodic goals that feed into Infoblox’s overarching business strategy
• Provide project status reports highlighting the accomplishments, risks, mitigation, and other pertinent key performance indicators
• Analyze and resolve issues with resource load balancing
• Work with the project management team to drive Agile transformation
• Help guide continuous improvement on project management and Idea to Offer (I2O) processes
• Ensure development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
• Update agile tracking systems (VersionOne or similar) to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs

What you’ll bring:

• 2+ years of scrum master experience for technology projects
• 6+ years of industry experience in a technical role within an R&D or engineering environment
• Experience with Agile methodologies/tools and Lean thinking
• Working knowledge of JIRA, VersionOne, Google Docs, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience working with teams in a cloud environment (AWS, Kubernetes, Azure, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site, global environment
• Solid business analysis or financial modeling skills to run analysis for various aspects of a project or portfolio
• Deep understanding of the product and software development principles
• Ability to build, lead, and motivate a team in a matrix project environment, as well as comfort mitigating team conflict and resolving communications or other problems within a project team
• Excellent problem solving and analysis skills combined with impeccable business judgment
• Ability to seek solutions through information gathering, stakeholder discussions, and/or judgment
• Bachelor’s degree is required and masters is preferred
• PMP certification

What success looks like:

After six months, you will...

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Infoblox I2O process and standard procedures
• Show high-level knowledge and understanding of Infoblox products and programs
• Exhibit working comprehension of the standard Infoblox tools (VersionOne, Jira, Google Drive, etc.)

After about a year, you will...

• Support programs through the I2O gates
• Advise and coach teams through scrum best practices
• Identify areas for process improvement and provide recommendations for efficiency
• Guide collaboration of cross-program dependencies, following through to successful implementation
