CrowdReason by Avalara needs a talented Business Analyst with in-depth property tax reporting experience. Is this you?

We are experiencing strong growth with our Enterprise property tax application, Meta Tasker. Meta Tasker is an exciting customer-facing application that uses a combination of machine learning and crowdsourcing to extract data from documents. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the process and performance of our different global BPOS that perform these outsourcing tasks.
This role will grow over time, and the ideal person will have strong analytical and process creation skills to be able to identify patterns and areas for process improvement to optimize and measure performance. Please note that Property Tax reporting experience is an absolute requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all daily operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost- effective way by the offshore business partners (BPO organizations)

Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs

Validate and ensure integrity of extracted data

Create task instructions to fulfill customer data requests

Review all support tickets from customers and ensure timely follow up

Complete daily task escalations for Avalara Customers.

Ensure regular one on one with team leaders of BPOS to:

Implement training as needed

Discuss development plans to sustain and improve metrics

Ensure that deadlines are met by BPO's

Once familiar with the process of the role, the person will then be able to:

Identify and recommend product and process enhancements to improve production KPI's

Document best practices as they evolve

Create and provide adept and confident delivery of metrics on system and BPO performance for Quality, Productivity and Adherence metrics

Share updates and metrics with Avalara leadership

Experience & Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of and experience with property tax reporting

Experience managing vendors, programs and/or processes

Exceptional attention to detail along with strong time management and organizational skills

Willingness to learn, adapt and interact with team members across different functions

Ability to demonstrate adept response to specific customer needs

Demonstrated ability to multi-task, lead and generate productive action within team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to create and implement business processes
