What You Will Accomplish:
- Build and run a world-class field enablement function to serve our sales, systems engineers, customer success advisors and partners.
- Lead the development of interesting, compelling and educational content that takes our sales, systems engineers and customer success advisors to new levels in their careers. You will work with front-line managers to turn needs assessment sessions into course outlines, and then work with the extended team to get the course taught, illustrated, into video format and delivered.
- Own our Sales Playbooks and Sales Plays. You will lead the development, delivery and roll-out of effective sales playbooks by working with our sales and marketing leaders. As the market changes, you’ll keep this up-to-date and consistent with best practices and the evolution of our products.
- Work with our Partner team to ensure that partners are trained and certified according to their program requirements. Coordinate and facilitate the creation of the training content they need.
- Drive our on-boarding program to new heights by collaborating with HR, sales leaders, systems engineers, and customer success advisers to ensure that. We need our teams to take tailored classes that fully prepare them to take their skills and bring them to bear on our customers problems.
- Help analyze and improve the current state of sales productivity in conjunction with Sales Operations. We want you to help us create metrics and objectives for sales enablement and make recommendations for increasing sales productivity. Our field management team will depend on these reports to keep our teams operating at peak performance.
- Create and manage a roadmap for enablement and field-requested collateral and programs. You will be the critical link between sales and marketing and make sure that we deliver everything sales needs to win.
- Lead our CMS/LMS implementation to the next level. We have a great start, but are looking for your help in making sure we are staying at the forefront of sales enablement technology.
What You Will Bring:
- 10+ years enablement, sales or sales management, sales productivity.
- Experience developing and rolling out successful sales processes, methodologies or sales playbook initiatives.
- Enablement development experience producing and hosting educational events, driving adoption, and measuring the impact of enablement programs.
- Expertise in building effective on-boarding and sales training programs.
- Experience with CRM (such as Salesforce.com) and Learning Management Systems (such as Brainshark) and other related systems and processes.
- Experience working with sales ops to create and track metrics which demonstrate constant increases in sales productivity and allow early identification of issues or trends that require attention.
- Ability to articulate both sales and technical concepts - how they map to product features and how the features can solve customer business problems – to both non-technical and technical audiences.
- Ability to break down complex concepts into manageable topics.
