Promotions Data Analyst - Latin America

Job Description

The Latin America Studios team is looking for a data analyst to support our team in executing on-platform campaigns and ensuring decisions are rooted in robust analysis and general understanding of how our tools perform. You will work closely with Studios, Content Promotions, Music and R&D to ensure the team is constantly optimizing its execution and finding new data insights that craft our on-platform strategy. This role will be responsible for supporting and evolving existing processes across content campaign operations. This includes conducting analyses across initiatives, and providing actionable insights to improve our overall performance. The successful candidate will be able to balance strong analytical proficiency with marketing skills to ensure learning is at the heart of all we do!

What you'll do

• Analyze the results of promotional campaigns to provide insights and optimizations to improve performance
• Build and maintain a robust internal reporting cadence of the metrics relevant for the multiple teams operating in Latin America
• Build easily digestible data visualizations, charts and presentations to be used in internal reporting
• Analyze large sets of data via BigQuery, distilling them into actionable insights for the Latin America teams
• Use extensive amounts of user data to build audiences and targeting cohorts to enable relevant and effective promotions
• Maintain and build upon data pipelines, tools, and processes that power campaigns
• Drive optimization and best practices, to help improve our decision-making on which content to support, execution of how we support them, and understanding on how to best use our on platform tools

Who you are

• You have a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Engineering, Economics)
• You have 2+ years experience performing data analysis in a professional environment
• You have the technical proficiency to perform data extraction and analysis
• Minimum of intermediate SQL experience & Google BigQuery
• You have strong Excel / Google Sheets skills, and are comfortable with making compelling visualization and presentations in Google Slides.
• Proven understanding of analytical programming (Python, R)
• Statistical proficiency (e.g. A/B testing, regression analysis)
• You are an inherently curious, organized person, who loves using data to inform decisions.
• You are a self-starter with excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, who takes pride in their final product.
• Data Visualization experience with Tableau or similar tools
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus
• Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese
