Position overview
Collins Aerospace is looking for a Cybersecurity Intern within the Simulation Solutions and Services (SSS) business area. SSS develops and builds simulators and training systems for both military and commercial customers. Devices range in complexity from desktop training all the way up to high fidelity weapon system and full-flight training systems including full visual, motion, and simulator interoperability.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist cybersecurity engineers with IT system administration in a Windows and Redhat Linux operating system environment.
• Assist cybersecurity engineers with remediating system vulnerabilities.
• Assist cybersecurity engineers with the installation and testing system updates as required.
• Assist cybersecurity engineers with maintaining security compliance requirements. Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Assist cybersecurity engineers with configurating and maintaining network printers and Cisco network switches and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) in accordance to DoD STIGs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
