THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

As FanDuel prepares to launch its Sportsbook in Ontario we are hiring a small Canada Squad within our US Trading Team. This small team of Canada focused Sports Traders will be based in either Toronto or New Jersey and will work closely with the Senior Director of Sports Trading. The Canada Squad will be responsible for continually optimizing FanDuel’s betting product for the local audience and managing our daily Odds Boost offering. They will champion our Canada business within the global Risk and Trading department to ensure optimal content and an industry leading customer experience.

There are several Trader roles available with pay and title dependent on experience.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

• Tactically improving our betting product and user journeys for the Canadian audience with a focus on Hockey, Canadian Football, and other local sports such as Curling and Lacrosse.
• Odds compilation and live trading for a range of other sports including MLB, NBA & NFL
• Price management of markets and events throughout their lifecycle using a suite of proprietary trading models and tools
• Attend to all matters required for effective daily trading operations including market creation, settlement, and strict adherence to compliance processes
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

• The role requires work outside of normal business hours including weekends
• An in-depth knowledge of at least three of the major North American sports with NHL preferably one of those
• An understanding of betting & statistics with a flair for probability
• High attention to detail and a genuine team player
• Strong written, verbal communication and research skills
• Experience with Excel essential; knowledge of SQL, R or Python highly regarded
• Undergraduate degree in a related field is preferable
