Fund & Investment Operations Analyst

Job Description

Supports the preparation and oversight of fund valuations Understands and maintains department procedures and controls, contributes to improvements.

Core Responsibilities

1. Executes daily, weekly and monthly deliverables for all assigned fund accounting tasks. Verifies, audits, and reports on the fund data.

2. Provides oversight of functions performed by external service providers. Ensures daily deliverable service levels are met and outputs are accurate.

3. Independently identifies issues and investigates root cause of errors. Analyzes trends and issues, recommends and implements action plans to resolve issues going forward.

4. Prepares reports for internal and external clients. May present reports identifying trends and summarizing results of workflow reviews performed to management.

5. Adheres to various control standards to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Documents any areas of control weaknesses and recommended improvement measures to the management team

6. Provides technical expertise and first level escalation point for junior or new team members.

7. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Finance or Accounting degree preferred.
