Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Master's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience in operations/strategy (supporting Sales, Product, etc.) or management consulting in technology (SaaS/PaaS)

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience effectively influencing and communicating with partners from junior staff to executive leadership through verbal and written communications
• Ability to perform analysis with limited direction (spreadsheet modeling)
• Outstanding project and stakeholder management skills
• Solid problem solving, analysis skills and impeccable business judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail

The Google Cloud Data, Databases and Analytics (DDA) team drives the Data related GCP products, and is organized in Execution Areas (EAs): BigQuery, Streams and Lakes, Looker and Databases.

As DDA Product Operations Principal, you will work with DDA Product/Engineering leadership, defining, improving and executing their Business cadence (e.g. Monthly Business Reviews), driving key strategic initiatives for your assigned Execution Area, and leading end to end processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal operational and planning processes (e.g., Headcount planning, OpEx management, objective key results planning and scoring)
• Support definition and execution of Product Management executive cadence (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews)
• Work closely with Product Management/Engineering leadership to drive product strategy development
• Partner and be the link with Go-to-Market teams (e.g., work with Customer Engineers to collect field feedback, align on the Go-to-Market approach)
• Provide analytical support for your Execution Area (e.g., internal usage, key performance indicator setting, goals)
