QA Test Manager - BFS

Quick Description: Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled QA Test Manager who will be responsible for Driving all quality assurance activities for a specific service line for one of the leading Asset Management client.

Ability to work independently and remotely, with willingness travel for client engagements as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Drive all QA activities for an entire line of business, in close coordination with multiple stakeholders – developers, business analysts, project managers and scrum masters and also businesspeople / end users
• Must have experience of JIRA and Confluence, along with any Test Management plug-in
• Ability to manage a small team of quality analysts and engineers located in multiple locations
• Strong communicator, who can conduct and drive discussions comprising varied stakeholders
• Strong reporting ability, who can determine and generate metrics to depict progress of testing and quality of delivery/ development work
• Flexible to moderate work hours, as per the need of the business
• Have broad understanding of automation (no experience in scripting is required)

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong credential with at least 12 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably mostly in BFS
• BFS domain (preferably Asset Management / Mutual Fund)
• JIRA (along with any test management plug-in, such as Zephyr)
• Confluence (for documenting and reporting purpose)
• Communication and presentation skills
• Strong understanding of quality metrics

Preferred Skills/Qualification:

• Automation basics – how and when we should do automation, how to conduct feasibility study, etc. (no need for scripting knowledge)
• Agile methodology (Scrum)
