About the job

We’re looking for an outstanding PR Manager to manage and grow the HelloFresh UK PR function. This role will partner with our marketing teams to bring to life our entire brand strategy across PR and communication channels while also focusing on PR specific campaigns. This role will ensure we are ambitiously and creatively communicating who we are and what we stand for across the UK media landscape.

What you will be doing:

  • Own and drive UK consumer PR function including press office, thought leadership campaigns, amplify brand campaigns and build relationships with key media stakeholders.
  • Manage our PR agency to develop strategic communication plans, ensuring that they are executed brilliantly, in-line with budget and deliver against campaign KPIs.
  • Build and continue to strengthen key relationships with media outlets and specific journalists across the UK’s national and local media landscape.
  • Partner with global PR teams to execute strategic global initiatives localised to the UK.
  • Proactively work with our SEO agency to react to topical trends that can be leveraged for digital PR and link building.
  • Work with UK brand teams including product marketing, brand campaign teams to amplify key comms campaigns through PR channels.
  • Develop post campaign reports and clearly communicate PR impact on core KPIs alongside key learnings to local marketing team and global PR function.
  • Partner with key business spokespeople such as chefs to prepare and guide on any media facing interviews or similar opportunities.
  • Support global corporate comms and head of brand on sensitive and strategic corporate comms initiatives.

Who you are:

  • 5-6 years experience in a PR role, agency or client side
  • Excellent agency management skills; you know how to get the best from agency and see them as an extension of your team.
  • A people-person and natural team player with excellent communications and creative skills.
  • Wonderful stakeholder management skills, you’re able to manage and communicate with people of all levels.
  • Super organised and detailed-orientated with the skills to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Creative and agile, if you spot an opportunity you like to move fast
  • Ideally you know the UK media landscape inside out and have experience in food, technology, e-commerce.
  • Comfortable working to clear KPIs and strong presentation skills

Level & Progression: A Manager is responsible for a part of a larger function with limited guidance from senior management, proactively delivering a set of objectives for the team, aligning with wider function. From there, you can progress to a Senior Manager level within the same function, or progress sideways to a role in another team at HelloFresh for which you have transferable skills
