The role

HelloFresh is seeking to hire an experienced, customer-focused, and details orientated leader for this new role. As our business continues to grow and expand at a ferocious pace, so does the complexity and challenge of ensuring we continue delighting our customers by delivering a high-quality product whilst still ensuring we remain cost-efficient.

You will work cross-functionally with both International and Local teams, including, but not exclusive to, Tech Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Consumer. You will play a critical role in designing, building and delivering the tools and operational processes that will allow our International Logistics teams to continue to provide a robust and resilient world-class service to our customers.

What you’ll do

• You will undertake a critical review of our current tools and processes deployed within the International Logistics business.
• You will be a key contributor to our network design and evolution programs, delivering services and solutions that allow us to scale and grow our middle-mile and last-mile operations efficiently.
• You will work cross-functionally to deliver the tools that continue to allow HelloFresh Logistics teams to make increasingly complex critical data-driven decisions.
• You will own the tactical and strategic roadmaps for developing and deploying all Logistics Tools and Processes within our International group.
• You will own the future HelloFresh Delivery Last Mile software strategy, critically reviewing the software solutions currently used within the business and benchmarking against what is available on the market.
• You will support our network planning & modelling program: which carriers we use, deliver to customers via HelloFresh vehicles or use a third party, and ensure customer demand and logistics capacity are aligned.
• You will partner with our New Product Development team, exploiting new business opportunities and seamlessly integrating within our Logistics network.
• You will develop and present fully costed business cases to leadership for review and approval.
• You will also identify opportunities and implement changes to improve Logistics performance, simplify processes, and leverage existing resources.
  

What you'll bring

• 7+ years of experience as a Leader within a Technical Logistics or Operational role, with a demonstrable ability to successfully deliver complex change programs.
• You have impeccable stakeholder management and engagement skills and can successfully function within a matrix environment without your ego getting in the way.
• You have a forensic level of attention to detail and can ruthlessly prioritise tasks and workstreams; you can immerse yourself within the detail but don’t become bogged down within it.
• You are a manager of managers with a history of hiring and developing high performing teams within a challenging and fast-paced environment.
• You foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to implement new ideas and deliver incremental value with pace and at scale.
• You can develop, share and deliver upon your strategic vision, using your experience and skill set to see ahead of the curve.
• You will bring experience in large scale data gathering, synthesis and modelling to solve complex supply-chain problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• You can demonstrate your ability to communicate complex analytical insights and business implications, preparing and presenting accurate and fully costed Business Plans.
• You may be required to travel Internationally as part of this role.
