Summary

Landing Gear Operations is on the tip of a major transformation for our factories, and we are searching for a Project Management Office (PMO) Project Manager to help drive our projects to success. The successful candidate will work with our Landing gear sites’ PMO and Operations Strategy teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders to develop LG PMO office, processes and reporting solutions. Responsibilities include Project management of large projects, LG PMO Process deployment to sites and LG KPI reports on all LG major projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and Progress-status on the Landing Gear project portfolio.
• Lead the deployment of PMO and required change management in all LG sites
• Deploy and maintain LG PMO standard processes across all LG sites.
• Lead consolidation of all LG projects and prioritization of LG project portfolio.
• Establish project tracking solutions and effectively plan and manage project resources.
• Perform risk management and proactively anticipate roadblocks, provide escalation management, and communicate contingencies across diverse groups to optimize intended project outcome.
• Make pro-active recommendations throughout on project approach, redirection if needed, timing priorities and deliverables.
• “Look ahead of the curve mentality” and strategic thinking that accounts for potential risks and opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in relevant discipline and 7 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
• Completion of a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is required
• Expert knowledge and experience with Project Management Principles
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Project managing project timelines and related resources
• Hands-on experience in Excel, Microsoft Project and Power Point
• Analytical experience on big data using MS Excel or any other DB
• Expertise in presentation of technical and non-technical projects
• Superior oral and written communication skills, and well organized

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
