Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively.

  • This position may require an employee to be onsite 1-3 times per week.

CCA's Global Aftersales Engineering organization is responsible for the service result readiness of every GM vehicle globally. This includes: service part release, service information, labor time guide, service part catalogue, diagnostic software, service programming, pre-delivery inspection forms, customer service information and special tools.

The Global Business Planner has responsibility for efficiently and effectively facilitating the execution of Aftersales Engineering work within their specific function. As a function of the ole, they will assist the GAESO leadership team in meeting these deliverables:

  • Manage scheduling, agenda content, action items and facilitation of Global Aftersales Engineering Leadership Team (GAELT), GAELT Regional Calls, GAELT Face-to-Face, GAE/SO Staff, All People Meetings, Joint Staff meetings and other GAE/SO Leadership forums.
  • Facilitate the development of global common metrics, objectives, and monitor status to goal.
  • Track/Communicate GAE/SO Record of Decisions (RoD)
  • Manage highly complex cross functional projects
  • Provide business operations advice and counsel to leadership team
  • Develop/Support Senior Leadership Presentations
  • Represent GAE/SO on CCA Planning Committee
  • Close Executive Director Action Items
  • Maintain Accomplishments list (Track quarterly)
  • Facilitate/manage/develop All Peoples Meetings
  • Support divisional / corporate awards / efforts (CCARRY)
  • Identify/coordinate "Lunch & Learn" topics to drive strong employee engagement
  • Special Projects / Special Studies

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Engineering, or similar
  • 3+ years of professional work experience
  • Knowledgeable on GAE deliverables
  • Proven ability to work globally and lead cross-functional teams
  • High Level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others at all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter that is capable of working independently and as a member of a team
  • Capable of managing a variety of responsibilities simultaneously with strong organizational skills
  • High level of analytical ability where problems are complex
  • Demonstrated accountability for results
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
