MC Crane Application Support Engineer

IntroductionFor Crane segment in Motion Control business unit, we are looking for APC engineer. The main responsibility is to push Siemens Crane Product, System and Solution to the market and customers, and support BDs to win projects within his/her responsible area. Particularly for this time is to focus on the implementation of pull strategy for crane end-users including group account, top ports and so on. What are my responsibilities?• Support sales regions or project team throughout the acquisition process from inquiry to order placed, contract signed• Support to prepare technical and commercial quotations/bidding document• Support technical negotiation during project acquisition if needed• Support on site commissioning or troubleshooting• Technical presentation of solution with specialist to BU, regional sales, customers• Create/translate necessary application document like slide, paper, brochure with BD• Other tasks appointed by team leader and section manager What do I need to qualify for this job?• Technical experience from pre-sales or engineering or after-sales • 3+ years working experience in Crane market• Excellent knowledge of crane related products• Good communication skills internally and externally, and good ability to listen • Good presentation skills to present in front of large audience • Good initiative ability and result orientation• Excellent communication/networking skill • Good language skill in both English and Chinese• Teamwork spirit What else do I need to know?• MC BU Crane CoC Business Development and Marketing team leader.• SLC DI Sales and CS teams in central office and regions and Crane CoC team.• R&D and standardization department in Crane headquarter and other product BUs. Engineering house in headquarter and China.
