About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us — and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

In this role, you'll be responsible for daily management and communication with the Beta community, monitoring feedback, suggestions and ensuring questions have a response. You will also lead different Beta programs and act as the community representative within the company, working with various teams to align community and Waze interests.

Happy, engaged and excited Wazers are all that matters here at Waze—that's why product is at the center of it all. Responsible for our product is a small team of talented, creative, and multidisciplinary product managers, UI experts and designers who work closely with R&D and our community to find new and innovative ways to enthuse our users. We are looking for creative individuals with a passion for the consumer mobile and social spaces to complement our team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding support service to Waze Beta Community globally.
  • Lead and scale all operations of Beta programs at Waze, building relationships with all stakeholders and communicating in an effective and timely manner.
  • Monitor and lead a team of support agents providing support to beta testers globally, collaborate with different technical teams internally, and be responsible for on-going communication and support to our beta community.
  • Use an extensive array of internal tools and communication channels to deliver valuable community insight or service, create and analyze community surveys, and respond and resolve various issues.
  • Choose the right channels, language, and tone to optimize communication and know how to translate community requirements into technical terms and vice versa.
