We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Reliability Manager to join the Mars Food Supply team at our Wyong site, located in the spectacular Central Coast of NSW. As the Reliability Manager, you will have a vital role delivering predictable asset performance to the Operations Team, optimising equipment preventative maintenance, driving breakdown elimination, reducing cost, optimising spare parts, and managing asset lifecycles. As an experienced people leader, you will provide a highly engaging and supportive environment to a group of skilled technicians, planning, and preventative maintenance staff.

This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced Reliability/Maintenance Manager from a large-scale manufacturing environment with a genuine passion for people leadership and development. You will bring your strong capability and knowledge in preventing repetitive failures that impact on the plant operations and can exercise your complex problem-solving skills to resolve day to day issues.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Ensure team compliance to Mars and Regulatory standards.
• Develop your team capabilities and increase improved performance outputs.
• Drive the PM Pillar deployment and improvement roadmaps.
• Ensure day to day issues are resolved by collaborating with your team, Shift and Operations Management and broader business effectively.
• Manage costs to budget and drive efficiency in labour utilisation and parts optimisation.
• Facilitate program changes implemented with the Health and Safety and Quality teams.
• Leverage PM Pillar to reduced breakdowns and optimise preventative action plans
• Drive performance and engagement for 9 direct reports and 20 indirect reports.

What are we looking for?
• Sound experience in Maintenance, Reliability or Engineering in a large manufacturing/FMCG.
• People leadership experience with proven ability to drive team engagement via crucial conversations.
• Strong complex problem-solving skills. TPM Maintenance methodology would be highly regarded.
• Exceptional relationship building and communication skills.
• A degree/tertiary qualification in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/ Electrical).
• Skilled knowledge of CMMS preferably SAP PM.

Relocation support to Wyong will be provided, if not local to the area.
