Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role using data to influence business planning.
  • Experience in SQL and spreadsheet functions.
  • Experience presenting data to executive HR and/or business leaders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience turning data into narratives with visualizations and presenting to executive leaders to influence business strategy in organizations.
  • Experience creating reporting solutions for business users.
  • Experience identifying problems and using quantitative and qualitative analytical strategies to measure the effectiveness of programs, interventions, and efforts.
  • Experience with statistics including scripting to deploy (e.g., R).
  • Experience managing ongoing customer relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize work and navigate ambiguity while collaborating on projects with cross-functional teams.

The team provides critical support to the business around issues of organizational health and is responsible for not just taking the pulse of our Googlers, but harnessing Googler feedback to drive change for the better. The People Analytics team acts as an internal innovation lab, using analytical approaches to make sure Google continues to be a great place to work. The team provides critical support to the business around issues of organizational health and is responsible for harnessing feedback to drive change.

Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $118,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Combine information from different sources to create analytical plans that address customer/stakeholder needs and execute them. Act as a thought partner to design and measure the impact of surveys, experiments, and interventions.
  • Analyze and manipulate datasets to get insights from data and convey findings to executive audiences by creating effective, scalable reporting solutions.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with teammates, business leaders, and HR customers to solve organizational problems.
  • Prioritize work to manage multiple workstreams, fast-paced situations, and information.
  • Work through ambiguity and connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded recommendations and use data to help communicate ideas.
