The Analytics team are central to supporting the business through this continued expansion . Headed up by Ben Ingle (a Performance & Analytics leader in Digital & Technology), the team is laser focused on embedding smarter, more sophisticated, data-driven decisions across Europe. Your role will support our Trainline For Business team who develop digital, white label products across all platforms to enable our clients to sell tickets and deliver a world-class customer experience. This area of the business works at the forefront of driving new disruptive technology such as barcode ticketing and digital carnets. As Product Analytics Manager, you’ll support both the Product and Commercial teams providing insight analysis to help drive the data agenda within Trainline For Business team. Whilst supporting product development, you’ll tell the story behind performance across app and web understanding customer behavior and conversion at every stage. You’ll play a critical role in enabling a culture of high volume, high velocity hypothesis driven testing to optimize both commercial and technical objectives. In addition, you’ll have the unique opportunity of being part of shaping and developing our new BI toolkit , querying online and offline through visualization tools such as Tableau to bring data to life. In this critical role within the Trainline For Business team, we want you to be the analytics guru , driving the way in which the team use data and evangelizing a more data driven decision culture . The insight you provide to the Commercial team in particular will be vital to the success of their business. Today, they are only scratching the surface on the opportunities this provides, and your insight will impact the business roadmap. Other key responsibilities include: · Leading analysis for web and app to deliver growth by understanding customer behaviour and interaction through qualitative and quantitative analysis · Managing all multivariate and A/B test analytics communicating results and making recommendations to key stakeholders · Understanding drivers of overall business performance monitoring the health of our white label product and ensuring regular reporting needs are met · Supporting team-wide improvements to timely insight through a stronger platform of data and the development of more sophisticated BI tools and content · Supporting budgeting and goal-setting across key metrics, modelling the business impact of all proposed changes This is a truly career defining role for someone passionate about data and technology looking for an opportunity to play your part in disrupting and defining a product that is changing the way we travel and inspiring millions people all over the world to make more environmentally sustainable travel choices every day. Knowledge & Experience We’re looking for a Senior Product Analyst with strong experience of advanced data techniques, analysis and commercial know-how. It’s also vital that you bring an innate ability to distil and communicate results of complex analysis clearly and effectively to all levels of the business. Other key experience required includes: · Experience working within an e-commerce or digital business that has data driven decision making at its heart · Proven knowledge and capabilities in using Google Analytics , and a good working knowledge of other tools such as Adobe Omniture or Usabillia would be useful · A track record of running multivariate testing . Experience ofBI tools such as Google Data Studio,Tableau or Microstrategy would be an advantage · SQLor BigQuery know-how would be useful but isn’t essential.
