As a Customer Engineer for Maps, you will work with the Sales team to advocate Google’s location platform to our customers. You'll engage with industry leaders and partner with them to devise a location intelligence strategy for their company. Additionally, you'll help prospective customers and partners to understand the power of Maps APIs and related offerings, explaining technical features, and problem-solving key technical issues.
In this role, you'll assist fellow Sales teams, problem-solving key technical issues for our customers, liaising with the Product Marketing and Engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends, and devising enhancements to Maps products. You'll also work closely with partners in industries such as ride sharing, local delivery, Augmented Reality gaming, urban mobility, and more.
You'll problem-solve technical issues for customers to show how our products can make businesses more productive, collaborative and innovative. You'll maintain on-going technical relationships and serve as our customer's advocate within Google, route issues, filing feature requests, and conducting regular best practice reviews to ensure their growth and success.
