Position title: Lean Manager / Lean Engineering Manager EMEA

Location: United Kingdom or France

Reports to: Productivity Director EMEA

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Job summary

As a Lean Engineering Manager you will support the continued implementation of an established lean program across our factories and distribution centers in EMEA. You will be a part of a central European team travelling to our European sites.

You will be working closely with existing lean teams to deploy Lean and Continuous Improvement Program.

You will receive full training in relation to the current lean program.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with European Continuous improvement teams to support & drive then implementation of established lean program
• Implement known lean principles through capability building, coaching, and deployment of Lean and Six Sigma (DMAIC) tools and systems
  • DMAIC problem solving process
  • SMED
  • VSM
  • Leader Standard Work
  • Kanban
• Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual deployment plans and tactics for lean implementation program for the factory / warehouse network in EMEA
• Ensure that improvement plans are impacting both results and the culture change including: capability building for setting, tracking and problem-solving measures, engagement, linkages of individual and team activities to losses and the business needs
• Facilitate meetings, Kaizen events and workshops to solve urgent business needs
• Network with other global and organizational leaders to learn and share “Best Practices”.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree
• Experience leading large cross-functional or multi-location projects and timelines
• At least 5 years of experience leading deployment of a Continuous Improvement methodology (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma) with a focus on Policy Deployment, Goal Alignment, Education & Training, etc.
• Willingness to travel to sites on average 40-50% of time

• Well organized and proper time management
