Commvault Backup Admin

Job Description

We are looking forCommvault Backup Admin for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

Job Description:

• 8 to 10 years of good experience and knowledge on CommVault backup tool
• Setup and Configure Commvault Server/client / libraries - on premise as well as on cloud environments
• Good Understanding and implementation of Deduplication, Storage Policies
• Monitor Daily CommVault activities and reporting to proactively avoid issues
• Good Experience on configuring and troubleshooting Disk appliances ( Data Domains, StoreOnce)
• Good Knowledge on configuration of ALL types of Integration backups
• Good Experience and Knowledge on Restoration, Bare metal Recovery, DB integration restores
• Commendable Knowledge on troubleshooting variety of backup failures
• Good Knowledge on implementing new Backup infrastructure build and migrating from other tools to CommVault
• Need to act as an interface between vendors for escalating software and hardware cases
• Good skills on performance optimization of backup resources
• Ability to perform automation with CommVault workflows and other scripts
• Experience in working on DR’s
• Good Understanding and implementation of ITIL concepts
• Cross-functional IT expertise (operating systems, storage, network and database infrastructure)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile framework
