Primary Responsibilities:

• Acts as the primary liaison representing the material and supply organization and the processes and workings within it by interfacing with it or other technical personnel to advise them how the processes function within it.
• Reviews a high volume and/or variety of materials, supplies and services.
• Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.
• Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
• Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
• Participates in determining objectives of assignment.
• Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion.
• Networks with senior internal and some external personnel in own area of expertise. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
• Utilizes ERP system and processes to manage the outcome for assigned commodity types.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
• In the absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is Required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement
• Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP experience
