Medtronic is seeking after 2 EMEA trainees as IT Business Systems Analysts in the IT Early Career Development Rotational two-year program sponsored by the CIO. The 2 positions are based in the Netherlands-Heerlen office.

You will experience 1 year in Global Application Service department & 1 year in the Business Relation Management .

You will have 12 months in the Global Application Services department. This team is co-creating applications with EMEA business to become the leader in Customer Experience in the MedTech industry. They leverage enterprise solutions, and understand that local specifics ask for regional solutions where necessary.

You will help this team to:

• Maintain and further build out a community for innovation and digital transformation
• Organize innovation-related events
• Contribute to the organization and further development of training programs in the area of innovation
• Partner with business stakeholders to generate ideas and opportunities
• Actively promote and participate in innovation ecosystems
• Bring innovative solutions from initial idea towards operationalization
• Pick up IT support activities for solutions which have not reached full maturity in the organization

The 2nd year will be with the Business Relationship Management (BRM) team where you will contribute to:

• Assignments in smaller local projects where BRM’s play a role
• Defining a process monitoring regular feedback from defined Stakeholders
• Build a shared community for reginal BRM’s
• Investigate and analyze local Digital Health Strategies and IT Infrastructure models in a set of defined local Countries.
• Support BRM’s working with OU’s / Commercial overlays to support strategic initiatives

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree student in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems or a related information systems major
• Be based in the Netherlands-Heerlen office
• Speak English fluently
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Positive can-do attitude & good communications skills
• Natural curiosity for emerging technologies & to learn more about the healthcare sector
• Analytic and a strategic mindset
• 0 to 2 year profesionnal experience

Nice to Have

• Experience in the healthcare sector
• Experience with Design Thinking / Lean Startup / Agile
• Prior work on projects in a team environment
