Responsibilities:
- Function Description Plans, designs and executes activities that are directly related to the physical creation of Collins products and the functional operation of Collins facilities.
- Contains professional and para-professional disciplines.
- Discipline Description Creates and executes plan for every part and maintain master data for purchased parts, sub-assemblies, end items and other parts as required.
- Facilitates the capacity management process, including identification and escalation of long term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SI&OP.
- Executes continuous management of the master demand schedule, including adherence to all required validations using the best information available, in order to provide long range OE and aftermarket demand visibility in support of financial planning, internal and external capacity management, and the overall SI&OP process.
- Monitors the transportation and delivery of inter/intraplant parts and outbound finished products.
- Tracks and manages inter/intraplant work in process (WIP), promise dating, expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow.
- May oversee command center and drive part shortage resolution.
- Monitors tracking and shipping. Performs escalated expediting when required to ensure on time delivery of material.
- Mitigates risks for short term shortages with internal suppliers to ensure successful customer delivery.

- Owns the execution of long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) and operational direction, typically for an entire region, country, product or business of considerable size and scope. or, Owns the establishment and execution of short- to medium-term operational plans (e.g., less than 1 year to 1-2 years) for the organization.
- Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis.
- Requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.
- Purpose Manages a small plant/branch or a department that includes multiple teams led by managers and/or supervisors in Materials Planning and SIOP.
- Owns and develops critical strategic and short to medium-term operational goals including storing and shipping products, activity planning, responding to highly complex inquiries, and ensuring the highest quality of work.
- Leads in the implementation of inventory control reports and manuals.
- Responsibility Statements Manages multiple teams, and owns the establishment and execution of short to medium-term operational plans.
- Leads in the implementation of plans and prepares data for purchased parts, subassemblies, end items and other parts as required.
- Spearheads the implementation of the capacity management process, including identification of capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of SIOP.
- Leads the execution of continuous management for the master demand schedule, including adherence to required validations using the best information available. Responsibility Statements Directs the transportation and delivery of inter/intra-plant parts and outbound finished products.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience OR
- In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required
