About the Team:
The Easel group at TpT is creating the next generation of device-enabled learning experiences for the millions of teachers and students relying on our platform . We are launching tools that allow teachers to easily distribute assignments and let students complete their work and receive feedback on their devices. We are building features for teachers to better understand the progress students are making as they complete this work digitally.
The Easel Content Creation team is focused on building the features and services that will get teachers excited about Easel and creating and selling content on the TpT Marketplace. Our goal is to create a best-in-class authoring experience that enables teachers to leverage their experience and knowledge to create interactive products that engage, delight, and inform students.
Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Easel Content Creation team, you will lead the engineering team in delivering iterative value to our users while building on top of a sound technical foundation. In addition to being a prolific contributor yourself, you will uplevel the rest of the team by introducing new technology standards and mentoring engineers. You are also expected to help the team identify and take action on process improvements that allow it to accomplish its goals more efficiently and with improving quality. Finally, you’ll be asked to take on progressively more responsibilities to lead major projects and initiatives, working across teams and functions to deliver on aggressive goals.
We are looking for an engineer with extensive frontend development experience with modern web frameworks. You are passionate about building intuitive, performant, and architecturally sound frontend experiences for users, leveraging the latest technologies including Javascript canvas.
