What is the opportunity?

RBC Wealth Management’s Global Content & Digital Marketing team is searching for a dedicated Senior Manager, SEO. In this role, you’ll be responsible for enhancing and supporting the Director, Digital Marketing in building our overall SEO strategy. You’ll also collaborate with the team, regional partners and lines of business to implement foundational SEO strategies, processes, training, reporting and best practices, with the goal of increasing brand awareness, high quality website traffic, onsite engagement, advisor leads and inbound phone calls.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with the Director, Digital Marketing to help develop and maintain the long-term SEO strategy
  • Work collaboratively with content team to establish and implement SEO best practices and processes as a part of the content development workflow
  • Manage SEO analysis, execution and results, collect data and report on traffic, and rankings
  • Review all content to ensure it adheres to SEO processes, requirements and strategy
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities that can be applied to both SEM and SEO
  • Research SEO trends regionally/globally and share competitive information to inform campaigns and provide insights
  • Optimize on-page content including the website, landing pages and digital tools and own off-page optimization (e.g. link-building)
  • Execute SEO and related training for content creators across all regions and ensure there is dynamic curation and distribution of SEO best practice resources

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5+ years of experience delivering SEO plans and strategies
  • Experience working in CMS environment and relevant SEO tools (BrightEdge,SEMrush, etc)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience implementing different schemas for SEO
  • Proven experience problem solving and managing projects across multiple teams
  • Experienced in tracking, analyzing and reporting of KPIs
  • Strong ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders

Nice-to-have

  • Analytical with numerical aptitude
  • Strong ability to present ideas and concepts to audiences with varying levels of knowledge
  • Experience working with global teams
