Application and SQL Support Engineer

Job Description

Cognizant is seeking a strong Application Support Engineer for an immediate need.

“Remote Candidates will be considered, however must be willing to relocate post Covid”

Job Description:

• Provide support for Nice Actimize Application and troubleshoot application related issues.
• Provide support for MS SQL server code including complex optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Transaction monitoring and reporting using Actimize product and tools.
• Automate data quality and data validation/verification functions as part of the overall solution.
• Maintain databases and develop tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and other database objects.
• Document and track defects, issues and enhancements to resolution using defect tracking tools and participate in root cause analysis
• Ability to troubleshoot and tune SQL code for optimal performance.
• Document, and implement reporting solutions.
• Performance tuning/troubleshooting of database systems.

Required skills: Working knowledge of Nice Actimize products/tools, Microsoft SQL scripting using T-SQL
