Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in partnerships/business development or management consulting
  • Experience building relationships, communications, and presentations with leadership internally and externally
  • Experience leading projects or programs

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, JD, or an equivalent advanced degree
  • Experience working in education technology or in education organizations
  • Experience developing partnerships from strategy to execution
  • Ability to discuss technology platforms credibly and perform technical qualifications

About the job

In this role, you will work across Google’s education products (e.g., Google Classroom, Google Workspace for Education, and Google Cloud) to drive partnerships that increase impact, build solutions for educators, and create value across the ecosystem. The Education Technology (EdTech) Partnerships team covers various product areas, leading partnerships and programs for both Google Cloud and Google for Education.

You will work with Product, Go-To-Market, and other cross-functional teams to develop partnership strategies that drive the growth of our products and businesses. You'll drive our partnerships from agreement to execution. You'll discuss partnerships and agreements, build relationships with C-Suite leaders, and work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Programs, and Sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product teams to launch and build product features with partners, improve existing product offerings, and identify product-enabling partnership opportunities, including discussing agreements with strategic partners.
  • Work with Product and Go-to-Market teams to define partnership goals, focusing on launching/building products and features, improving existing product offerings, and/or driving innovative go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive internal and external communication of goals and achievements, influencing product roadmaps, and providing market/industry insights.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with partners, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Manage coordination between internal, cross-functional, and partner teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, etc.).
