What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:

As a UX designer, your role requires a good understanding of user experience best practices and hands on experience with interaction design as well as proven collaboration and stakeholder management skills. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our in-house UX team to advocate to a cross functional team the needs of the user. You will be working across disciplines, organizational and geographical boundaries and with customers with diverse needs and pain points to rapidly develop world-class enterprise software. You will wear many UX hats and take the initiative to develop a variety of UX deliverables from personas to mock-ups as well as design governance and best practice documentation.

Be the lead designer on projects from start to finish for a broad portfolio.

Create user journeys, wireframes, detailed UX flows, and pixel perfect screens.

Create prototypes that show full experiences and micro interactions.

Work closely with user research, product management, and engineering.

Build consensus and balance different priorities while dealing with ambiguity.

Develop a deep understanding of our users.

Develop a point of view on where the area you are working on should go and how that relates to the rest of the portfolio.

Effectively communicate your ideas to a range of stakeholders and audiences through presentation and storytelling.

Responsibilities:

Design Portfolio to showcase experience and creativity

Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques

Experience with a variety of design tools such as Sketch, Axure, Invision, XD, etc.

Experience designing for mobile, touch, voice and web.

Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS or in Figma, Axure, Invision, or Adobe XD.

Visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

Skills must have

HTML/CSS ; Axure; Design prototyping;

Must be able show previous work or designs done.

Skills nice to have

Bootstrap 4/5

Angular or React, or an understanding of front end development workflows and UX/UI concerns

Experience with Agile Development Teams, Bonus if worked in SaFE Agile Environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree preferred.
  • COVID 19 vaccine is required
