Job Description

ETAS currently has an opening for a Product Support Engineer. In this role, you will support ETAS in the following:

Product Support: Provide technical support for various ETAS products as well as their interaction with other tools in use at the customer.

Solution Development: Lead, propose and specify tailored ETAS calibration solutions that improve the customer’s ECU development processes.

Business Development: Support the pre-sales cycle and overall account strategy in close coordination with the account manager(s) through presentations, demonstrations, managing customer evaluation projects etc. Drive the growth of ETAS business through the identification of customer needs, proper positioning of ETAS solutions, and demonstrating a good understanding of the commercial side of each opportunity. Represent ETAS at industry events.

Customer Management: Maintain strong relationships with key customer advocates and facilitate communication between global customer locations and associated ETAS regions. Lead and manage technical interaction with customers –including providing technical presentations, driving the resolution of critical customer issues and tracking open/closed action items

Daily job location is at the Stellantis Tech Center in Auburn Hills.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• B.S. in EE, CE, CS or ME
• 1+ years of experience with direct customer interface
• 1+ years of experience with vehicle electronics, vehicle communication buses and protocols(e.g., CAN, FlexRay,CCP, XCP, UDS).
• 1+ years of experience with Windows systems and tools.

Preferred:

• Strong customer relationship management skills required –including excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with ETAS tools such as INCA a plus.
