Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience using SQL or R to extract and manipulate quantitative data.
• Experience with data modeling, data visualization and building dashboards.

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; experience in working with large datasets.
• Knowledge of the Cloud/Software industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and drive complex operational initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate at an executive level, both internally and externally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The Cloud Sales finance team ensures that Cloud Sales makes sound financial decisions. We are an important partner and independent advisor to the Cloud commercial leaders, providing them financial, analytical and strategic insight. Cloud is a strategic priority for Google. We develop groundbreaking cloud solutions, including Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace, to enable our clients’ digital transformation. As a Finance analyst for EMEA Revenue and Booking, you will provide high-quality reports, analysis and forecasts to enable exec-level decision making and help accelerate performance.

Responsibilities

• Set up a robust revenue and bookings data infrastructure. Ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Deliver automated reporting solutions for executives and analysts. Organize data regarding clients regions, segments, industries, cohorts.
• Build forecasting models to support planning and target setting.
• Drive complex and time-critical analysis projects to provide insights to senior leaders.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, Finance.
