Lead the development and execution of channel partner marketing programs for PayPal across the portfolio of our markets in Europe. This role, reporting to the Head of Channel Partner Marketing EMEA, will lead marketing partnerships with our eCommerce and marketplace partners, who enable SMB merchants to build, manage, and grow their businesses. The marketing manager will also be a critical partner to sales leaders to deliver against ambitious goals to drive merchant adoption of PayPal products in various EMEA markets. Success will be defined by the delivery of merchant outcomes including new merchant acquisition for PayPal, growing the value of our engaged merchants, and in growing the brand, momentum, and differentiation in these markets so PayPal is positioned as the most highly valued payments engine & growth driver for ecommerce and marketplace platform partners around the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging partner marketing strategies across the full funnel to drive demand for our products and platform, to accelerate new SMB merchant growth and to grow the value of our portfolio through partner channels
  • Support development and localization of regional and country-based partner marketing plans to grow co-branded relevance and preference, expand distribution and product penetration and to increase market share.
  • Develop scalable approaches for supporting a diverse set of eCommerce partners across various markets, such as UK, DEATCH, Southern Europe & Northern Europe
  • Serve as a trusted partner to PayPal Sales teams, helping drive merchant adoption of PayPal products
  • Help create locally relevant thought leadership and always-on content program for merchants on partner platforms
  • Position PayPal as a champion for SMBs and Partners.
  • Partner effectively with internal marketing teams to deliver best-in-class marketing with and through partners. Deliver effective marketing briefs to our internal and external partners to enable co-creation of engaging marketing programs. Partner with our Performance Marketing team to move core merchant metrics across our funnels and to optimize the reach and effectiveness of our channels. Partner with go-to-market teams to operationalize the value proposition for our target segments. Partner with the Sales team to accelerate the sales pipeline through strategic partners.

Required Experience

  • Marketing manager , several years of marketing experience, including partner marketing
  • Winning B2B Marketing Strategies – you have implemented creative ideas in support of businesses and brands
  • Growth Marketer with demonstrated capabilities in developing insight led test and learn approach across end-to-end funnel for partner, merchant, and business impact.
  • Customer Champion with demonstrated track record in designing marketing solutions with merchants at the center.
  • Global Operator with track record in working across multiple geographies.
  • GTM programmatic execution across multiple markets with programs that have been scalable yet locally nuanced.
  • Portfolio Management – you have managed complex portfolios across dynamic products, segments, geographies.
  • Ecommerce or Payments experience valued
  • Fluent in English and German
