The Challenge:

We’re looking for an Application Support Specialist who specializes in the Ad Astra application to help us train the next generation of warfighters in a secure modernized computer environment.

As an Application Support Specialist on our project, you’ll be responsible for day to day operational support of Ad Astra, acting as a first line of support for product owners. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. Join our team and solve daily challenges as we improve training for the next generation of warfighter.

You Have:

-Experience with change management and training personnel on new systems or applications

-Experience with help desk support

-Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

-Experience with developing business process and operational guide documents

-Knowledge of scheduling in-person and web-based training or education

-Ability to develop business processes

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with system administration supporting military systems

-Ability to tailor communications effectively across a broad spectrum of experience and leadership levels

-Ability to learn by reviewing and following technical documents and publications such as user guides and other documentation

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail

-Bachelor's degree

-Cybersecurity Workforce (CSFW) Computing Environment Certification

-Security+ certification
