The Business Support & Operations Sr Project Manager will be responsible for understanding, organizing, communicating, documenting, and coordinating all planning and business enablement activities that are supported by the First Line of Defense Center of Excellence (FLOD COE). These projects will include but are not limited to Policy and Procedure documentation; Issue Framework, Monitoring and Management; Resiliency Incident Management & Customer Recovery; Complaints Monitoring and Expansion; Root Cause Analytics; Business Intelligence and Analytics; and Interactions and Control Testing & Monitoring. The individual will need to maintain a strong working relationship with First Line and Second Line teams, individual business units, support teams and Information Technology (IT) to ensure a successful deliverable. This is a high visibility role that involves strong leadership.

- Ability to work with large and diverse teams in multiple locations.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment within a matrix reporting structure.
- Manage multiple, complex projects in parallel focusing on on-time delivery.
- Proactively identify and report on risks, issues and dependencies.
- Provide regular updates on project status, including a risk assessment and list of outstanding issues. Escalate risks to leadership accordingly.
- Coordinate with the FLOD-COE management team to identify individuals and resources needed to meet project deadlines.
- Understand who the business is; provides realistic expectations; and actively monitor stakeholder satisfaction.
- Develop improvements and innovations to enhance timeliness and accuracy of data.
- Ensure open communication on the project team. Consult and provide advice, facilitate discussions and resolve conflict.
- Make decisions and take timely independent action in pursuit of priorities.
- Create clear measures for quality and success of the team.
- Participate in special projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience, Skills, or Abilities:
- Experience with Traditional Waterfall and Agile Scrum Project Management methodologies.
- Understanding of database terminology and data warehousing concepts (ETL, data movement, data modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence)
- Experience with SQL Server or Notebooks
- Possess strong presentation and documentation skills. Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Smartsheets is preferred.
- Extensive experience leading global, multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Experience managing the intake and development for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics projects (ie Microstrategy, Tableau)
- Exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills with the ability to work across organizational boundaries to drive complex delivery challenges.
- Strong business and technical insight, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical ideas and challenges across a broad audience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the professional confidence to effectively engage and interact with senior and executive management.
- Ability to make strong decisions and handle multiple projects under pressure.
- Ability to direct and motivate others.
- Ability to focus on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, clarifying next steps, and delegating effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired results
- Self starter, motivated individual who can move a project forward with little direction and/or guidance. Willingness to ask the right questions, engage appropriate points of contact to launch a project from conception into motion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing moderately sized programs from start to finish within a highly complex operating environment.
Preferred / Plus:
- General experience in one or more of the following areas: call center management, customer service, business analyst.
- Agile Scrum Master and/or Product Owner Certifications preferred.
- Requirements gathering, preparing requirement documents, facilitating technical discussions, and running user acceptance testing if preferred.
- Strong technical background is preferred.
