UX Strategist and Researcher, Senior

Key Role:

Support client engagements focused on User Experience (UX) strategy by conceptualizing and creating digital experiences and applications. Ensure consistency and work internally with cross-functional teams, clients, external agencies, and vendors. Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to produce on time and budget while maintaining quality independently or as part of a full design and development team. Contribute to a hands-on environment by supporting the production of industry leading UX strategy, research, or design artifacts. This position is open to remote delivery from any location in the U.S., to include the District of Columbia

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with UX research or design
• Experience with industry standard prototyping tools, including Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, Figma, Balsamiq, or InVision
• Experience with user research and user testing methodologies
• Experience with supporting client meetings and user research sessions
• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, the user-centered design process, and UX principles and techniques
• Ability to provide and articulate sample UX work
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BA or BS degree or BFA degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in working with teams throughout a software development process, including Agile, Waterfall, or Lean
• Experience with working across a creative team of researchers, designers, developers, and data analysts
• Ability to multi-task, contributing to multiple projects simultaneously
• Possession of excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 90,000 to 1115,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
