This position is within the Mission Services, Systems, and Solutions (MS3) Division, the Intelligence and Analytic Development (IAD) Mission Area, and the Mission Solutions Line of Business.
Deputy Program Manager and Subcontract Manager (SCM) for a new and growing Vehicle Unique Element (VUE) Program. As Deputy Program Manager and SCM, the candidate will work with the Program Management Team to focus on leadership of a major subcontract while also helping to provide daily programmatic leadership and customer interface for this VUE program. Position requires the individual to facilitate resolution of programmatic, technical, contractual and execution issues within and between geographically dispersed, system engineering and agile software development teams, subcontractors, and mission partners.
Basic Qualifications:- Previous experience as a project or program manager or other managerial position on small to medium-sized programs (e.g., $5M to $20M annual sales).
- 3+ years of experience leveraging an agile methodology for managing software development projects.
- Cost account manager (CAM) experience or formal training/certifications; demonstrated ability to effectively manage budgets and control costs.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including previous experience interfacing at all levels and with multiple departments virtually.
- Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership characteristics.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Desired Skills:- Self-starter with proven leadership ability, as well as demonstrated success working with limited supervision while coordinating activities with engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, quality, contracts, and other program execution functions.
- Subcontract management experience.
- Previous experience in staffing, planning, and people management.
- System Engineering and Software Development experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to independently problem-solve.
