Job Description

As a Technical Lead at Bosch you are responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of multi-tiered applications in the automotive services and aftermarket domain that use Java, Spring Boot, Micro Services and Azure Cloud Technologies with SQL Server databases. You will be an integral member of a dedicated team, work with state of the art technologies and partner with internal and external customers.

• Lead development team to deliver high quality software on time with acceptable quality
• Work with Project Manager to define technical options and translate business requirements into technical design and execution plans
• Take responsibility for architecture, test automation, and quality
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback based on coding standards and best practices
• Practice Test Driven Development and review unit tests developed
• Champion Agile development methodology within the team promoting best practices
• Take ownership of User Stories, create child tasks, provide effort estimates
• Own the team’s software development lifecycle – optimize it, tackle inefficiency and reduce waste
• Coach and mentor team members

Qualifications

B.E/B.Tech (IT/CS/EC) with 10+ years of overall experience as an Java Enterprise developer that includes

· 5+ years of thorough experience in development/maintenance of complex web applications involving different ERP solutions and complex databases.

· 3+ years of experience in technically leading a geographically-split team
