Role Overview

Management of Pre-Sales & Customer Service by providing the appropriate guidance and support to the Sales and Business Development Directors. This includes, but is not Iimited to, business-intelligence analysis and business models, providing support and leading discussions with customers and prospects and the internal processes for business acquisition. You will act as a direct interface with distributors, key accounts and partners in order to provide the highest level of customer experience to all parties. This is a highly technical role and experience with network infrastructure and broadband services is preferred, maybe required. You will work with various partner technical teams and our internal technical teams to come up with innovative new solutions and ensure customer solutions are implemented and meet business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Project Leader and facilitator for the acquisition of new leads/contracts, liaising with relevant departments

· Key liaison between internal and external (3 rd Party) support functions.

· Actively participate in meetings, handling technical or commercial matters, in front of the Distributors or Prospects

· Create documentation in support of the business, for internal or external purposes

· Regular customer meetings involving all key parties to maintain visibility and delivery of sales objectives

· Post Sales focal point and “facilitator” seeking to provide timely resolution to distributor queries and requests.

· Focal point for Mobile Backhaul projects

· Support of the negotiation and business-cases creation

· Contributor in the design of internal processes, that involve the PCS team

· Technical Customer Care and support for Viasat’s European Residential wholesale partners

· Supporting distributors in pre/post sales aspects

Requirements:

· Minimum 5+ years in Telecoms Pre-Sales and customer interface role

· Degree in Telecoms, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.

· Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Platforms, OSS / BSS system management, Data manipulation and visualisation.

· Experience from within the Satellite Sector would be a distinct advantage.

· Demonstrable high level project management experience and ideally Prince 2 or equivalent qualification.

· Highly analytical, demonstrates ownership over challenges and the delivery of customer centric solutions.

· Fluent in English, fluency in one other language to professional proficiency would be advantageous .
