You are an independent, flexible and motivated Talent Sourcer who loves the challenge of finding extraordinary talent and turning them into hires. You are passionate about building an organization and never settling for anything but the best. Sourcing quality talent requires hard work, knowledge, strategy, patience and at times, a little bit of luck. You understand a broad range of issues across the PayPal culture and the high-tech industry, as well as the nuts and bolts of what drives each unique individual candidate. As a Talent Sourcer, you will be working closely with multiple Recruiters, identifying passive and active candidates for PayPal’s Corporate, Sales and Marketing positions in EMEA. Further, you will drive lead generating initiatives amongst the team to spur creativity and continuous high-caliber candidate flow. You are able to work on multiple projects while contributing to a fun and collaborative team environment. You will build partnerships with business leaders, hiring managers and other internal partners to ensure a smooth experience for customers. You have strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize against tight timelines and you demonstrate push-back and a sense of urgency. This role is a 12 month contract (maternity cover).

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with Non-Tech Recruiters and hiring managers to set expectations and design approach to shared hiring approach (cadence, timing, quality/quantity)
• Curiosity and resourcefulness, in building PayPal-specific business acumen across our various teams and units
• Talent community building, internally and externally, to continuously develop our network and ability to reach of top talent
• Cultural ambassador, you articulate and showcase our global values, but equally bring reginal, local and team specificities to life for external talent
• Creative, out-of-the-box-thinking & developing of sourcing strategies, specifically targeted to the passive candidate
• Shaping attraction and recruiting campaigns that will target and - engage - the top talent in the industry
• Maximise individual jobs, teams and brand effect and exposure
• Use effective and proactive communication that fosters transparency, solution-orientation and a one-team approach with internal and external partners
• Manage applicant tracking system, maintaining accurate candidate documentation to ensure legal compliance with applicable frameworks
• Ability to partner and collaborate across Global Talent Acquisition projects and improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications & Interests :

• Proven experience in recruiting or staffing in a multi-country model, with a passion for non-technical roles
• Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
• Proven knowledge of using online networking tools, such as, but not limited to, LinkedIn as well as solid understanding of Boolean Search Strings
• Proven ability to think fast & use sound judgment to never stand still in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of timeliness and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
• Excellent communicator, you are culturally aware and adapt smoothly to all levels of an organization & business community
• A successful track record of performing against quotas, deadlines, and meeting recruiting goals
• Self-starter with a team-first mentality and love for things done well

Nice-to-have :

• Experience in developing social media sourcing strategies
• Experience developing strategic initiatives which align with business goals and budget
• Extensive knowledge and usage of sourcing/search tools, which includes a variety of recruiting resources including Workday ATS, social media, research, cold-calling, internal searches, meet and greets and networking with community groups
• Extensive experience aggressively sourcing top talent, primarily within various non-tech skill sets
• Experienced assessor, with solid phone screening skills, who is also a persuasive interviewer
