Job Description

Narvar is Growing! We are looking for a Logistics Development Manager that will formulate and drive the execution of our logistics partnership strategy in the Americas, which will be aligned -- both technically and operationally -- with our global activities. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to manage the prioritization of new logistics entities’ onboarding, support the execution of those integrations and serve as the business stakeholder for our product and engineering teams’ ongoing efforts to improve our logistics partner-oriented initiatives in the Americas. You’ll have global exposure and understand the nuances of both the Americas and international markets.

Day-to-day

  • Identify partnership opportunities in the supply chain ecosystem, assess the value of those partnerships and then negotiate and activate those partnerships
  • Support the supply chain requirements of Narvar’s retailer base by establishing new technical and feature integrations with logistics partners
  • Keep a pulse on all logistics partners and keep Narvar informed of major developments and opportunities
  • Serve as an expert on Americas logistics -- both internally and externally -- by remaining abreast of the latest market news, carrier developments and cutting-edge innovation
  • Represent Narvar to the logistics industry and promote our mission by attending trade shows, industry events and remaining visible on LinkedIn and other channels

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of supply chain or logistics-related SaaS experience in the Americas
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate large, complex organizations in order to identify and engage the right stakeholder(s) in pursuit of Narvar’s objectives
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and negotiating with senior executives
  • Demonstrated thought leadership (or potential to exert thought leadership) in the logistics space and its implicated technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to assess market opportunities, formulate an investment thesis and secure cross-functional support for that thesis
