Responsibilities:

    • Partner Solutions Consultants work directly with Partners to enable them on all aspects of the Medallia platform. They work to develop the understanding of Operational Customer Experience Management and give partners enough knowledge of the platform to be able to identify opportunities in their clients and prospects. Your focus will be primarily around Sales and PreSales enablement, but with a strong focus on relationship development. You will work closely with the delivery enablement teams who enable partners to be able to deliver
    • You will be focused on/ able to:
    • Feel comfortable running sessions and fielding complex questions from senior management/ CX leaders in the world’s leading management consultancies, systems integrators and research houses. To be able to develop these relationships, build partner champions and create a strong sense of trust.
    • Partner Enablement - Running a curriculum of enablement sessions with each partner to get them to a point of understanding the core areas of the Medallia offering, and to understand how the partnering process works, how Medallia support partners and to cultivate a relationship with those partners based around being a trusted advisor to them on what technology can augment the programs that they are running or planning to run with their customers
    • Partner Discovery - Build relationships with partners to identify the consultancy types that they offer, to understand how they work and how the Medallia platform can align with and contribute to their business goals. To also work out what are the limitations with their current CX approach/solutions
    • Partner CX Vision/ Joint Value Proposition Development - Evolve and shape partner CX strategy beyond their current state through the development of a combined joint value proposition, as an output/ second stage to the Discovery and Enablement phases, once there is clarity on the partner offering.
    • Partner Product Demonstrations - Master Medallia’s product capabilities and address a wide variety of business concerns for partners through a customized and differentiated product capability demonstration. Also to have the ability to deliver sessions based around customer or employee journey stories illustrating the value of technology as an integral part of that story rather than a feature function based approach.
    • Partner Solution Design - Give advice on and help to develop comprehensive CEM solutions that transform the business and organizational culture of prospect companies
    • Partner Workshops - Develop and run workshops with partners to shape and refine our proposed solution with senior executive audiences
    • Scoping - Give Partners guidance on how to access resources for the design, scope, and estimate of the software solution and professional services for prospects and customersCross-functional collaboration - Collaborate with Delivery Enablement, Partner Marketing, Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal and Professional Services to deliver on partner needs
    • Reporting - to be organised and methodical in the delivery and recording of partner activity to achieve consistency in the way partners are enabled across partner types and regions.

Required Qualifications:

    • Strong English Language skills
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
    • Significant experience in a partner or alliances facing role
    • Significant experience working in a management consulting or systems integrator role or a role that closely tallies with the skillset and mindset required
    • Excellent business and technical presentation skills, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management
    • Demonstrated interest in technology, including comfort with technical concepts and ability to become a subject matter expert with new technology applications
    • RFP and/or proposal writing skills experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Business level fluency in Mandarin, Japanese or Korean language
    • Consulting skills (e.g. strategic, technological) and balance between a service-driven and sales mindset
    • Deep understanding of diverse industries (including Telco, Retail, Hospitality, Finance, Insurance, B2B)
    • Experience with CEM, cross-channel customer experience, Voice of the Customer, survey methodologies and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
    • Previous experience in partner/ alliance programs/ scenarios and working with high calibre partner organisations.
