Go To Market (GTM) Analytics is a brand new team at Medallia aimed at building scalable data solutions with broad impact for our growing global Revenue Organization. We partner with key sales supporting organizations (Sales, Operations, IT, Marketing, Customer Success) to equip our Revenue Organization with actionable insights to make informed decisions daily. As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst you will be responsible for the reporting layer of this initiative as well as a key contributor to the underlying data models that serve it.

Responsibilities

• Own, design, and develop revenue dashboards that support executive insights and decision making.
• Recommend and implement best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
• Build dashboard tutorials, document process flows, training, best practices, and requirements for technical and business stakeholders.
• Develop and expand dbt data models in our Snowflake data warehouse that serve as a single source of truth for the reporting layer. Assist in creating clean, scalable data sets that make it easy for analysts to answer our most crucial business questions.
• Enhance data pipelines and dashboards to ensure highly accurate and reliable business reporting.
• Implement best practices for security access and user experience. Ensure low latency for dashboard delivery and backend processes.
• Maintain optimized front-end and back-end reporting architecture.
• Participate in ongoing Data Governance and Data Quality processes.

Requirements

• Proven ability to create technically sound BI solutions based on requirements
• 3-5 years prior experience in Reporting/Analytics and with data visualization tools such as Tableau (preferred), Mode or Looker
• Strong familiarity with Salesforce data and data structures
• Knowledge of Sales Strategy & Operations, FP&A and Sales processes
• Excellent SQL skills
• Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery
• Experience with dbt or similar tooling is a plus.
• Experience with B2B SaaS businesses is also a plus.
